“This movement was inspired by a homeless individual that I used to see every morning two doors down from my buildingsfront door,” said Tavis, “He was in bad shape and would lay next to the sewer grate so the steam could keep him warm. One morning I left for work and he wasn’t there. Or the next day. I knew something bad had happened. I knew he didn’t make it through the winter. If I can keep that from happening to another person….I will.”
